Privacy policy

We process your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/revFADP) and, where we sell to customers in the EU/EEA, in accordance with the GDPR. Here we explain what we collect, why, and what rights you have — in the same plain language we use to describe a seam.

What data we process and why

Order data (name, address, email, items): to perform the sales contract, shipping and returns. Legal basis: performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Payment data: processed by the payment provider; we never store your full card number.

Cart, language and preferences: stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never transmitted to our servers.

Newsletter (email): only with your express sign-up; you can unsubscribe with one click in every mailing. Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Anonymous audience measurement: only if you accept the corresponding category in the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent.

Recipients and transfers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the store (logistics, payments, hosting), under data processing agreements.

If a provider processes data outside Switzerland or the EEA, we require adequate safeguards (an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

Retention periods

Order data: 10 years (Swiss commercial and tax retention obligation, art. 958f CO).

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Consented analytics data: 14 months at most.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection: write to us at info@clothvr.com and we will respond within 30 days at most.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Switzerland, with the FDPIC (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner).

Security

The entire site is served encrypted (TLS). We apply data minimisation: what we do not need, we do not ask for; what is not asked for cannot leak.
